Over the past few weeks, AGC of Utah proudly hosted Build The World Career Fairs in both Northern and Southern Utah, continuing our mission to engage the next generation in the construction industry. These hands-on events are a core part of our We Build Utah campaign; designed to grow the industry by showing students the real-world opportunities construction careers can offer.
With a strong focus on encouraging female participation, these career fairs showcased that construction is an industry for everyone where creativity, leadership, and hard work build not only projects but people. Students explored trades through immersive stations ranging from heavy equipment operation to carpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical, and civil engineering. Additional sessions highlighted HR, accounting, and marketing, helping students connect the dots between field work and office roles.
Panel discussions featured professionals from various specialties, opening eyes to careers in construction management, VDC, architecture, and more. In Southern Utah, students toured an A-Core Concrete facility and active homebuilding sites courtesy of Enhance Home Builders, offering a real-world view of job site life.
